Requesting Account Deletion
You have the right to delete your MegaBull account at any time. To request account deletion, please send us an email request.
Email Request
Send an email to support@megabull.in with:
- Subject: "Account Deletion Request"
- Your registered email address
- Reason for deletion (optional)
We will process your request within 7 business days and send a confirmation email once complete.
Data That Is Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our systems:
- Your profile information (name, email, phone number)
- Virtual trading history and portfolio data
- Watchlists and saved preferences
- App settings and configurations
- Any uploaded profile pictures or documents
Data That May Be Retained
Certain data may be retained for legal, security, or legitimate business purposes:
- Transaction Records: For accounting and legal compliance
- Communication Records: Support tickets and correspondence
- Anonymized Analytics: Aggregated, non-identifiable usage data
- Legal Holds: Data required for ongoing legal proceedings
Retention Period
Retained data is kept for the following periods:
- Transaction records: Up to 7 years (as required by law)
- Support communications: Up to 2 years
- Anonymized analytics: Indefinitely (as it cannot identify you)
Before You Delete
Please consider the following before deleting your account:
- Account deletion is permanent and irreversible
- All your virtual trading history will be lost
- You will lose access to any achievements or badges earned
- If you wish to use MegaBull again, you'll need to create a new account
Reactivation
Once your account is deleted, it cannot be reactivated. If you change your mind after requesting deletion but before it's processed, please contact us immediately at support@megabull.in.
